Pillows, duvets, and sheets that all guarantee extra coziness.
With colder temperatures and the looming threat of daylight savings, the desire to be cozy is stronger than ever. While that sometimes comes in the form of fashion, more often than not we're opting for a night in and cocooning ourselves in layers of blankets. In other words, the end of autumn is when we begin to take our bedding very seriously. So, we've polled our staffers to reveal the sheets, pillows, duvets, and more that are keeping them warm as we very tentatively approach winter.

One of my favorite things about fall is pulling out my Buffy Cloud comforter for the season. The name truly speaks for itself and feels like you're being cocooned by a silky, luxurious cloud all night. Best part is it's made from recycled plastic and eucalyptus—so you're helping the planet while you snooze. (P.S. there's also a free trial).
My Slowdown Studio woven blanket is my favorite couch accessory. It's the perfect weight to cozy up on the couch with and doubles as art for any room (draped on the couch or hung as wall art). Each blanket is designed by artists from all over the world, so there's a style for everyone—plus, it can even be used as a picnic rug during the warmer months. (There's also a few on sale for $184).
Everything by House of Hackney is my maximalist dream come true. I've had my eyes on their velvet cushions for months—they're bright, textured, and color-clashing in all the right ways. I'm saving up for the Florika cushions, but there are tons of options for my fellow maximalists out there.

As we navigate the in-between season where some nights are below freezing and some nights feel like spring, this waffle-weave blanket is the perfect layer. Made of organic cotton, this blanket literally gets better with more washes as it develops a real lived-in feel. Oh, and it pairs perfectly with these organic signature sheets.
I am guilty of breaking a traditional sheet set and throwing in a varying set of pillow cases, but once you try these you'll understand. These "eco-luxury" pillowcases are insanely soft and provide the perfect level of comfort for a rejuvenating sleep.
For me, the easiest way to refresh my sleep space as the seasons change is to swap out the covers on my throw pillows. I love the contrast of the texture on these bouclé pillow covers against my airy, plush white bedding, which helps to add another level of coziness.

It's not officially autumn until I'm googling mulled wine tutorials and changing my linen sheets to a fresh flannel set. It was the way my mother would signal the changing seasons—there's literally nothing cozier than sinking into flannel sheets, freshly scrubbed and moisturized, after a bath. This set from Boll & Branch is the softest I've tried yet, and they are breathable so I never overheat.
I'm a California girl, so I stay swaddled during the cold East Coast months. This alpaca throw has made me feel as luxurious as the Roy family while I watch the new season of Succession from my $50 Facebook marketplace couch. It's so soft it hurts!
If you're sick of maple leaf motifs and plaid, I would direct you to Happy Habitat by Karrie Dean! I love all of her throw blanket designs, but this groovy graphic pattern is great for bringing a little sunshine into your bedroom during the winter months. I would layer it on top of my duvet for extra warmth.

I have blankets in every single room and my bedroom is no exception. I love having a variety of cuddly neutrals and knits readily accessible at every turn. My favorite? The locally-made cotton throws from Made Here New York.
Sometimes the littlest accent pillows can pull an entire bedroom together. While it took us almost a year to actually decorate our own bedroom in the suburbs, decorative throws like this were the first step.
I'm sure I'll still wake my husband up a few times a night freezing, overheating, or just generally looking to complain, but a temperature-regulating pillow could be a godsend. These down alternatives are great for guest rooms, too—you never know who might be sensitive to feathers!

I will not buy any bedding that is not eco-friendly and vegan, and this was a perfect addition to my bedroom. Now I am not sure I can sleep without it and I'm afraid to find out!

In my bedroom, my rug is the source of all colors, which I then play off of via curtains and throw pillows. This is the Etsy shop I used for (inexpensive) pillows. Though mine happen to be rendered in a hot pink hue, I'm partial to the blue, as well.
Does anyone else still buy their sheets from Target? They've been my go-to since I was a kid and I particularly love the subtle stripe detailing for a slight contrast to my white duvet.
I have started to tire of the all-white bedding kick I've been on since college. This is the mildest of compromises with a subtle green border to, again, pull from the print on my rug.
