Sneaker Week Is Back
More closets, more crazy collections, and a hell of a lot more sneakers.

If you weren’t a sneaker fanatic a year ago, we’ll put money on the fact that things have since changed. You likely now have a pair of Nike Air Force 1’s, some Adidas Stan Smiths, or Old Skool Vans in your current rotation. Given the number of collabs that have recently rolled out—Virgil Abloh’s Ten Nike Icons, Tyler the Creator’s One Star Converse, Pharrell and CHANEL’s Adidas NMDs, Gucci Ghost’s Reeboks, etc.—it’s an exciting time for sneakers. Suffice it to say, we’re *extra* excited for Sneaker Week.
Over the years we’ve taken you inside the homes and closets of some of the biggest sneakerheads out there, introduced you to design duo Snarkitecture (responsible for the iconic KITH stores), got Jason Markk to share his sneaker-cleaning skills, and showed you how to style your kicks like a fashion editor. This year, we’re diving into five more closets (warning: cute kid alert), giving you an exclusive tour of a $20 million sneaker stash (yes, such a heaven exists), jumping into the kitchen with a sneakerhead chef, and so. much. more. Lace up, friends, this week is going to be a good one. And to get you as excited as we are (although we’re rolling our eyes if you aren’t already crying with joy), below are a few of our favorite sneaker closets from the past. Happy Sneaker Week! Apologies to your wallet in advance.
