New York Fashion Week officially kicked off today, and somehow, we've already experienced a few highlights, like Susan Alexandra and Rachel Antonoff's second annual dog show, which saw adorable, adoptable puppies make their way into the show "arena" to the most joyful, engaged audience I've experienced at a show so far. Later that day, amongst a flurry of luxury brand events in various flagship locations, the Coveteur team landed at Studio 54 to celebrate Valentino Beauty. They opened the club for one night only and today's hangover was entirely worth it.

Violet Chachki hung from the ceiling in bedazzled underwear, The Dare DJ-ed, Cher came and did not dance due to a rumor that she didn't like the music. It had all the makings of a great fashion party.

Onto the rest of the week. There are plenty of shows on the schedule, and many exciting moments for New York's host of emerging designers. Plenty of us are excited for Diotima given Rachel Scott's latest appointment, and Collina Strada since Hillary Taymour always puts on something weird and wonderful. Coveteur has an afterparty on Monday hosted by Quil Lemons, which will ensure more dancing. Below, all of the NYFW shows and events the Coveteur team is looking forward to.

"I've been counting down the days until Grace Ling's show ever since I interviewed her for our series The Close-Up. I can't wait to see her avant-garde, 3-D, space-inspired designs in the flesh." — Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Valentino Beauty's Studio 54 Party

"I mean, Studio 54? Enough said. What a genius move for Valentino Beauty to throw a party at the iconic New York nightlife spot. I've been looking forward to it all week, and let's just say when I stepped through those hallowed doors, it did not disappoint (as in, Cher was there, live in the flesh)." — Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Sandy Liang SS26

"I love the world Sandy Liang has created for her eponymous brand, and am so looking forward to seeing her show on Sunday. From the atmosphere she always creates to the perfect looks, I can't wait to be delighted as I assume I will be." — Ella O'Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Emerging Designer Energy

"Overall I'm really looking forward to seeing the work from some of the younger designers this year. I love to watch how their technique, world building, and vision evolves from season to season. Putting on a show is no small feat, and anyone involved in the task should be very proud of that output." — Ella O'Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Wiederhoeft SS26

"One show I look forward to every season is Weiderhoeft. Jackson always brings the drama, fantasy, and perfect dash of whimsy." — Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Jane Wade SS26

"I’m also counting down the days until Jane Wade’s runway show. Last season, she reimagined business wear and office core with a sultry, chic edge (complete with a surprise cameo from the ultimate boss, Lisa Rinna). So, if that's any indication, this season is set to be next-level." — Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Collina Strada SS26

"Backstage at Collina Strada: Collina Strada shows never shy away from experimenting with hairstyles. I'm excited to see them (and hopefully peak at some runway looks) up close." — Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Caroline Zimbalist's Presentation

"Caroline Zimbalist has a visual arts and sculpture background and that's very clear through the clothes she produces. She uses raw materials to create literal wearable art." — Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Allina Liu SS26

"Bring on all the puffed sleeves, ruffles and bows - with an intriguing title of "memorandum" Allina Lui's show is bound to be incredible." — Natasha Sheridan,
