The Best Celebrity Looks Of The Week, From NYFW To The Emmys
Naked dresses, office siren, and more.

Oh, what a week it has been. The stars aligned in NYC for a fun, chaotic New York Fashion Week, some sticking around just long enough to make it to LA in time for the Emmys. The Deauville Film Festival gave us a seemingly rare Kristen Stewart sighting and movie premieres seemed to be happening back to back. Jenna Ortega and Margot Robbie took their own spin on the naked trend while Tessa Thompson kept her New York City looks effortlessly cool, as she always does.
As always, despite the options endless, we picked favorites, below.

For the 2025 Emmy Awards, Jenna Ortega wore a dramatic Sarah Burton for Givenchy creation. Described as a "broken chandelier" top, the pieces featured gaps in between and covered only the spots completely necessary. The top was paired with a black maxi skirt with a high slit, strappy black heels, and dark moody makeup.
Margot Robbie

For the NYC premiere of her film "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey", Margot Robbie tapped a 1998 Mugler look. A white corset is overlayed with black panels with high, leg-revealing slits.

For a day of press for her film "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey" in New York City, Margot Robbie wore Australian designer Christoper Esber. The look, from his Resort 2026 collection, consisted of a suede midi skirt and a strapless snakeskin or reptile textured corset. The look was tied together with the skirt's waistband, a perfect match to the top.

For the UK premiere of "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey", Margot Robbie decided to fully submerge herself in the naked dress trend. This intricately embellished look by Armani Privé featured silver, pink, blue, purple, orange, and red details.
Gigi Hadid

On a NYC date night, Gigi Hadid cosigned the maximalist trend in a patchwork dress by Miu Miu. The dress feature various patchwork pieces stitched together and featuring beaded, embellished details. Some people refer to this as the "ugly trend", but we just think it's fun.
Julia Fox

At the LA premiere of her film "Him", Julia Fox put a campy spin on the polka dot trend. The look consisted of a pencil skirt, tight corset, and dramatic hat with pink ostrich feathers.
Tessa Thompson

For the Through Her Lens: Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program Lunch, Tessa Thompson dressed an elevated look down. She wore a black micro mini skirt and sleek black heels with a perfectly oversized Fiona Apple graphic tee.
Kendall Jenner

On a night out during fashion week in NYC, Kendall Jenner took on the office siren trend. She wore a form fitting gray plaid midi dress, low pointed simple black heels, and small rectangular eyeglasses.

I think we can all take notes on how Kendall Jenner pulls off so many minimal, effortless looks. For another day out in NYC during fashion week, Jenner proves the power of basics by pairing a black tank with a high v-neck with a white satin midi skirt and simple black flip flops.

For the Emmys, Parker Posey put her own spin on the lingerie trend. She wore a custom nightgown-inspired dress by Valentino: a three tiered lilac dress with ruched detailing and lace details and a matching fur-trimmed shawl.

For the Emmys, "The White Lotus" star wore a Dior tux, featuring a cropped jacket with a floral vest underneath. Draped panels with tasseled ends added depth and movement as he walked down the red carpet.
Colman Domingo
I would argue that Colman Domingo never misses and this is no exception. For the Emmys, Domingo's Valentino look consisted of an embellished light blue blazer, a polka dot button down shirt with a matching scarf, and brown flared pants.
