Margot Robbie Returns To Method Dressing For The "Wuthering Heights" Press Tour
And we'll never forget it!

Not that the jury was out or anything, but Margot Robbie knows how to do a press tour—and she, alongside stylist Andrew Mukamal, have made a great point of reminding us of this truth recently. The pair have collaborated on past press tours with continuous hits: "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey" more recently which culminated in a stunning Armani Privé naked dress adorned with colorful embellishments, and "Barbie," which was arguably Robbie's largest foray into method dressing, belonging in the press tour hall of fame for the countless headlines surrounding her iconic Barbie-inspired looks.
For the "Wuthering Heights" press tour, Mukamal has put Robbie in looks that pay homage to the late 18th and early 19th century in both straightforward and modernized ways that turn styles from the time on their heads (that red leather snakeskin Dilara Findikoglu corset, anyone?). Over the past couple of years, we've seen Robbie push the boundaries of her personal style, step into unexpected looks, and surprised us with her choices—and this is exactly what we love to see fashion-wise from celebrities.
While we're excited to see how much fun iconic costume designer Jacqueline Durran had on the looks for the film up close and how gothic romance, the Georgian era, and modern elements are combined, Margot Robbie's method dressing press tour looks will do for now.

And what's that hanging around her neck? The Taj Mahal diamond necklace which is worth over eight million dollars and once belonged to the iconic Elizabeth Taylor.

For a photo call in London, Robbie wore a look from Dilara Findikoglu's Fall 2025 collection that both paid homage to the film and felt incredibly modern. The look featured a micro mini skirt, bolero shrug, spiky bra, and under-bust corset, all in a red leather snakeskin material. Oh, did I mention the matching pumps?

It wouldn't be a Margot Robbie press tour without a naked dress moment—and we wouldn't have it any other way. For an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Robbie and stylist Andrew Mukamal pulled Look 45 from Alexander McQueen's Spring 2026 show: a black long-sleeve naked dress with an asymmetrical skirt, and floral lace. The look was modern, gothic, and Victorian-influenced.

For a press junket, Robbie wore a black mini dress from Roberto Cavalli's Resort 2026 collection. The dress featured bell sleeves (a direct reference to the Georgian era), a square neckline, and velvet trim. She completed the look with a black velvet choker with antique/vintage-inspired pendant and towering Christian Louboutin patent leather heels.

Robbie and Mukamal pulled two looks (that are both similar and polar opposites) from Victoria Beckham's Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The first was a white mini dress adorned in white feathers, and the second was a black tank covered in black feathers and paired with black trousers. Mukamal accompanied the carousel of images with a quote from the "Wuthering Heights" novel, for those who didn't immediately catch the reference: "Tossing about, she increased her feverish bewilderment to madness, and tore the pillow with her teeth...she seemed to fin childish diversion in pulling feathers from the rents she had just made." This is method dressing at its absolute finest.

For an appearance on SiriusXM, Robbie slipped into something more modern and little less 19th century: a layered lingerie-inspired dress from Mark Gong's Spring 2026 collection featuring multiple straps, some casually slipping off her shoulder, and others perfectly in place. She paired the dress with strappy knee-high boots that appear laced up with fringe.
