Margot Robbie's Press Tour Looks Are Unbelievably Good
From 1998 Mugler to archival Celine.

In case you needed a reminder, Margot Robbie is a bonafide fashion girl. For the press tour for her new film "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey", Robbie tapped all of her resources to ensure this was a fashion moment and put some of the most iconic designers on display on New York City streets, London red carpets, and beyond. She, and her mastermind team, curated a wardrobe that struck multiple chords: both archival and modern, trendy and unique, and vintage and current.
On this press tour, Robbie made it clear that she has a thing for 1998 Mugler, Phoebe Philo will always be great, and that she has her finger on the pulse of the Fall trends to know this season.
Margot Robbie's look the London premiere of "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey" made a clear statement: the naked-dressing trend is going nowhere. Robbie shimmered and shined in a completely sheer Armani Privé gown from their Spring/Summer 2025 couture collection. The gown was adorned with intricate colorful embellishments forming flowers and more.
For a day of press in New York City, Robbie wore one of fall's most popular fabrics: suede. This two piece set from Christopher Esber's resort 2026 collection included a brown glossy reptile-textured corset top, a brown suede midi skirt, black strappy heeled sandals, and trendy tortoise shell sunglasses. The midi skirt's waistband was a perfect match to the reptile-textured corset, tying the whole look together.
For the New York premiere of "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey", Robbie stepped out in a vintage 1998 Mugler look because, why not? The black and white bodice gown featured a plunging neckline and extra high leg slits.

For a London photo call, Robbie once again chose to dip her toes in the world of vintage Mugler. She tapped a blush pink satin bra with a nude pencil skirt featuring a high slit from the Fall/Winter 1998 collection, a matching coat, and classic nude pumps.

For a BBC Radio One Interview in London, Margot Robbie put a fall jean trend back on our radars: high waisted flares. She paired the Chanel jeans with a beige low-cut top with buttons and an embellished neckline, strappy heels, and a tiny Chanel purse that matched the look's color scheme perfectly.

Robbie wore an archival black and white Phoebe Philo-era Celine paint-stroke printed mini dress for a day of press in NYC. The Celine items didn't stop there, though: the look was completed with Celine block heeled shoes, oversized shield sunglasses, and a black and white suede bag with a gold handle.

Margot Robbie putting her admiration for Phoebe Philo on display didn't stop with that previous look. For another press day in NYC, she wore a gray Phoebe Philo blazer with a single button, corset-esque silhouette and deep plunge with nothing but a dainty black bralette underneath. She paired this with light gray trousers, black heels, and black rectangular sunglasses.

Robbie took her spin on a classic, tried and true outfit formula that rarely fails, and certainly doesn't in this instance: oversized blazer and jeans. Her blazer was checkered, perfectly oversized, and by none other than Saint Laurent. She paired the blazer with a basic white tank, light wash straight leg jeans, black heels with a pointed toe, and black sunglasses with a slight cat eye.
