Fanny packs, bucket hats, shirts emblazoned with logos—it wasn’t too long ago that we were happily cleaning this stuff out of our closet. But then something unexpected happened: It all came back in style. Those ’90s and early-aughts trends we once cringed at were rebranded as streetwear, and now today’s top fashion icons really can’t get enough.
Of course, not everyone is on board (Mindy Kaling, for instance, isn’t buying this whole tiny sunglasses thing), so we decided to go to the pros, asking Tan France of Netflix’s Queer Eye to weigh in on some of the styles we’ve spotted on famous men.
