Olivia Coleman For Burberry & Sandy Liang's Gap Collection
And all the other fashion news you may have missed this week.

So, fashion month wrapped up on Tuesday with a triumphant, tear-jerking debut from Matthieu Blazy at Chanel, complete with a roaring standing ovation and finale that will go down in history, thanks to Awar Odhiang’s infectious energy. It was a show and collection that has taken up plenty of real estate online and in my mind over the past few days as the final shows closed out a massive month in fashion.
There were many-a-trend to be spotted, as demonstrated in our Spring/Summer 2026 runway trend report, plenty of designer debuts to keep critics and analysts busy for the next few months, and a heap of celebrity moments to keep aspiration high.
Now that the month has settled, we’re back to regular programming, and there’s plenty of brand news to cover as we catch up.
Olivia Colman Stars In Burberry’s Latest Campaign
Burberry
Two British icons have come together for Burberry’s latest campaign, where, in a series of four short films starring British national treasure Olivia Colman and directed by John Madden, a group of tourists are seen exploring London and all it has to offer, from the chip shop to iconic landmarks. Joining Colman, who I could happily observe watching paint dry, is joined by an all-star cast of tourists including Amelia Gray, Liu Wen, Lucky Blue Smith, Mona Tougaard and Tyson Beckford.
Sandy Liang Collaborates With Gap Studios
GAP
Iconic American legacy brand Gap has teamed up with Sandy Liang, New York City’s favorite downtown it-designer, for a capsule rooted in nostalgia and American heritage. The collaboration is celebrated via a short film, titled Sandy’s Dream Closet, which centers on the eponymous designer’s childhood neighborhood and her father’s Cantonese restaurant. There isn’t a single person in our office who hasn’t fervently mentioned wanting to get their hands on this collaboration since the news dropped. Not one. The Sandy effect!
Emma Stone And Hoyeon Star In Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2025 Campaign
Ethan James Green for Louis Vuitton
Emma Stone and Hoyeon, both returning House ambassadors and Nicholas Ghequiere’s muses, star in Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign by Ethan James Green. The campaign celebrates the launch of the Fall collection, with Ghesquiere’s latest bag for the house, the Express bag. Originally debuted as the 1930s Speedy, the Express bag returns with a modern edge and pays homage to the house’s storied past in leathergoods. A new collector’s item to add to LV lovers’ collections, no doubt.
The It-Girls Were Out For Rimowa’s NYC Store Opening
BFA
To celebrate the opening of their new flagship boutique in Soho, Rimowa hosted a party featuring a collection of New York’s most iconic talent: Chloe Sevigny, Paloma Elsesser, Spike Lee, Evan Mock, Walton Goggins and Jeremy O. Harris amongst them, alongside our editor, Faith Xue, who notes, “I showed up late to the party and immediately ran into Kim Shui, Suni Lee and Andrew Kwon on their way out, and then proceeded to accidentally photobomb Spike Lee. Inside, the atmosphere was boisterous and celebratory as Paul Sevigny played disco house and guests sipped on their extra dirty martinis. I was honestly blown away by the sheer amount of celebs and NYC It boys and girls who came out to celebrate the new store opening—I've been to fashion events with less of a turnout. It just goes to show that Rimowa is truly fashion's favorite luggage brand!”
