This Modern Abode Nestled in the Mountains of Park City Blends Function & Comfort
A crash course in bringing the outdoors in.

Especially after this tumultuous year, most city dwellers harbor a not-so-secret desire for a peaceful refuge away from the commotion. Though a pipe dream for most, we've located the physical manifestation of that dream nestled in the mountains of Park City, Utah, which one NYC family is lucky enough to call their second home. CLB Architects helped them cultivate a space that draws inspiration from the breathtaking natural surroundings—think limestone, leather, natural shearlings, and more. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the views rival the family's highly impressive art collection. We spoke with the design team at CLB to discuss how the project came together, where they found inspiration, and how they managed to keep the space functional.
