On this installment of "fashion collaborations not on our 2025 bingo cards," the Glenn Martens and H&M collection has officially arrived. With H&M more recently elevating their "It" brand status with the help of front-row fixtures like Charli XCX, Emrata and Gabbriette, and recent collaborations with Magda Butrym and Isabel Marant, this really shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. And, at Coveteur HQ, we're certainly not mad about it.
For this collection, Martens—the creative director for Margiela known for reshaping, transforming and subversion—put his signature twist on staple items: jeans were warped, knits were deconstructed, and boots were scrunched. According to the brand, Martens went deep into the H&M archives and selected a range of key staples, from bomber jackets to jeans, and reimagined them using reshaping techniques like foiling and wiring. The end result are an assort ment of sculptural forms that are fully customizable by each wearer.
We were able to get our hands on the collection and of course, had to put them on immediately. Keep scrolling to see our honest reviews of how these pieces felt and how we see them fitting into our personal rotation.

Coveteur""I love this foil bonded men's bomber jacket that you can manipulate into different shapes. It feels luxury and slightly different to your average winter bomber. I'm also into a metallic moment and always a baby tee ,hence my choice of shirt. The boots with a wide ankle are on the up this season for peak pant tuckage, which I'm also on board with." - Ella O'Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Coveteur"I practically live in black tanks, so this one from the collab instantly caught my eye. The ghost straps are such a fun design element, adding that unexpected factor that make even the most simple fits feel elevated. And when you throw on the draped, low-rise jeans, it creates a cool, laid-back look that I love (and am always aiming for)." - Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Coveteur"I've been trying to step outside of my comfort zone of all-black looks and incorporate prints and graphics into my rotation for the past few years. I'm drawn to vintage mesh graphics and this immediately gave me that vibe. The black, white , and green trompe l'oeil design is toned down enough that it still feels like me and bold enough to make it feel like a statement look. I, in general, love a good flowy satin dress and this one is tall girl friendly, hitting my ankles for a true maxi look." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Coveteur""There's nothing I love more than a snatched-waist moment, so a cropped hoodie that provides volume at the bust and ties at the waist is my version of an achilles heel. I'm also obsessed with the handkerchief hem on this long denim skirt. I'm in my Grown™ era, and the peeks of leg you could see as I was walking felt so flirty in the most mature way. Très sexy." - Sierra Cook, Graphic Designer
