Kim Kardashian Takes Venice In Glenn Martens' Margiela
She is one of the first (if not the first) to take a look from this collection for a spin.

Breaking news for all fashion folks! Kim Kardashian stepped out in Venice in look 39 from a collection that we've all been dying to see in action off the runway: Glenn Martens' Fall 2025 Artisanal Collection, his first as Maison Margiela's Creative Director. This makes Kardashian one of the first (if not the first) to wear a look from the collection off the runway.

The world that Martens built through the Artisanal Collection was filled with many lessons: don't be afraid of too much texture, play with fabrics and materials that people wouldn't expect, deconstruction should sometimes come before construction, and, from someone who claimed to not be as great of a storyteller as his predecessor, that fashion can be a poem, a novel, and a Renaissance painting all at the same time.
The look that Kim Kardashian tapped for the DVF Awards on August 28th in Venice, where she accepted one of five Leadership Awards, is a masterclass in the art of draping. The sheer gray slinky fabric gathers leotard-style, blurring the lines between gown and jumpsuit, while the draping of the high neckline creates a natural, ripply, water-like texture. A cape is seamlessly built-in overtop, creating a dramatic train and a look that moves smoothly and ruches in all the right places with every step that Kim Kardashian takes.
