All the Looks from CHANEL’s Fall 2018 Runway Show
Karl Lagerfeld transformed the Grand Palais into a whimsical forest for Paris Fashion Week.

He took over the streets of Havana for a tweed parade for Cruise 2017, uncovered Grecian ruins for Resort 2018, created a roaring waterfall for spring 2018 ready-to-wear, and erected a life-sized CHANEL spaceship for last year’s fall show. No palisade stands in the way of Karl Lagerfeld’s CHANEL runway. For his most recent collection, the creator in chief transformed the Grand Palais into a whimsical forest in the midst of autumn. Messy-bunned models slushed their patina gold knee-high boots and patent brogues through a carpet of withered leaves. And tweed-piped puffers, leaf-motif dresses, and romantic lace threaded through the deciduous trees that punctuated the runway. Kaiser Karl kept the color palette muted, save for the hot pink and cobalt blue fingerless gloves and knee-grazing scarves.
