So, What Are We Wearing For Thanksgiving?
We asked some of our favorite fashion friends for inspo, from the comfiest pants to the coziest coats.

There are so many things to consider when putting together a Thanksgiving outfit. Are we going for fashion or function? Are we prioritizing looking cool, feeling cozy, or striking the perfect balance between both? And, most importantly, will we feel comfortable enough sitting at a table for an extended period of embracing exactly what Thanksgiving is all about: thoroughly enjoying a multi-course meal? These, in my opinion, are the important questions.
As Thanksgiving quickly approaches and those who tend to leave things like these to that last minute (me), we asked some of our fashion friends this: what are we wearing for Thanksgiving? The results ranged from looks built to protect against the Connecticut cold to those approaching Thanksgiving as a true fashion moment, with perfectly played Spring/Summer 2026 runway references sprinkled between. Still, others only had one thing on their mind: selecting a pair of pants that will allow them to comfortably indulge in as much pie as their hearts desire.

Thanksgiving outfit: "My Thanksgiving is usually spent in the middle of rural Connecticut with extended family, so I’m never really trying to be a fashion girl; I’m just trying to be comfortable as I stuff my face all day. I’ll pair my Addison jeans with an Intimissimi Cashmere Blend Boat Neck Top for warmth layered under a chunky sweater for the perfect homage to Christian Girl Autumn. For shoes, I’m wearing some hybrid of a ballet flat and an Ugg slipper."

The Thanksgiving outfit: "Miu Miu apron and the Moschino pot. Come prepared. Make your mother proud with a collared shirt and loafers. And Dickies! You better put in the work for that turkey, darling."

The Thanksgiving outfit: "My Thanksgiving plans will almost exclusively revolve around meals with my family (prepping, cooking and eating), so I’m dressing for comfort and function. I love layering cashmere and cotton tees to mix textures in a neutral cream palette. For some added some dimension, I love this drapey coat from Rue Sophie to throw on when for I inevitably need to dash out for a last-minute ingredient."

The Thanksgiving outfit: “For Thanksgiving, I wanted a look that feels polished, but still playful—very true to my Gemini nature. I also wanted to be cozy and elevated at the same time, especially since the holiday is all about good food and being surrounded by family. The Prada cashmere polo and cotton shorts create that perfect relaxed-yet-refined foundation, while the Wolford velvet tights add an extra layer of texture. I paired the outfit with Miu Miu’s satin bow ballerina flats, which are always cozy, and a black bow from Arc and Bow; I love accessorizing with bows in my hair for the holidays, and Arc and Bow never fails me for that feminine, whimsical touch. The Coach bag with the Cherry keychain brings in a fun pop of charm, and the Dior Tribales earrings tie everything together with a classic, festive glow; they're pretty much the only earrings I wear besides my mom's vintage Chanel, and they have become a part of my identity at this point."

The Thanksgiving outfit: "Leset Barb Trousers in black! They look polished and put together, they feel like pajamas, and they have an elastic waistband and no zippers in case you overdo it on the mashed potatoes."
