From her effortless cool girl ensembles to her structured red carpet looks, Tessa Thompson has been on our fashion radar for a while now. Her new film "Hedda", based on 1891 Norweigan play "Hedda Gabler", is about a woman who feels trapped in her marriage when an ex-lover reappears and shakes things up. This elongated press tour has spanned from the Toronto International Film Festival in September to "Watch What Happens Live" in NYC just yesterday, and has come along with a fruitful collaboration between Thompson and stylist Karla Welch. Thompson’s looks so far have consisted of vintage Celine by Phoebe Philo, as well as pulls from recent Khaite, Tory Burch, and Erdem collections, culminating in a series of looks that feel very current while also paying homage to classic silhouettes.
