Everything a Stylist Wore During Milan Fashion Week

What does your style look like these days?

"My go-to palette is black and white, and lately, I have loved mixing metals."

Day 1:

"It ended up raining cats and dogs in Milan one day—perfect day for lasagna and a bottle of wine. I knew it was going to be raining a bit in the forecast, so when I was packing, this Frankie Shop trench was the perfect answer. It was also the perfect time to whip out my Vuitton sneaks I scored on The RealReal. When these Archlight sneakers came out originally in spring 2018, I couldn't quite afford them. I finally found the Cinderella pair in my size and color way and I was so thrilled to finally put them on (of course, the fit was perfect). My crossbody bag is something I wear on set usually—quick access to a phone, pins, and tape. But I wore it out so as not to damage any of my other precious suede/leather bags. I just love my Christopher Kane umbrella, too, and living in L.A., I haven't got much use out of it. A few Italians knew the word in English and coyly smiled as Ashley Benson and I strolled the wet streets after our five-hour meal spent enjoying all the positive reviews of her look at Ferragamo."

What energy are you bringing to your ensembles this fashion week?

"When it comes to fashion weeks, I love a statement coat, comfortable shoes, pants with a slit, and any bag that will allow my hands free to capture content."

Day 2:

"This Ricostru coat is magic! Depending on the light, it changes color. I wanted something special to wear to the main event! The reason I was there was to style Ashley Benson for the Ferragamo show. I paired signature clear-tinted aviators to cover up my dark circles from jet lag. My shoes are Proenza [Schouler] from a sample sale ($100 steal). Between the jacket and the shoes, I just needed the rest to be simple—black is always a good idea. The bag allowed my hands to be free and just carry the necessities, so I could capture the day and the amazing look we put together for her to attend. I wear my Oura ring everyday. Needless to say, the sleep it was tracking was not high quality, but there were lots of steps! Everyone walks everywhere in Milan."

In terms of beauty, what does your go-to hair and makeup routine look like this week, and how does it correspond to what you're wearing?

"Hair is always parted, slicked back, and up. I rely on bobby pins to keep every stray hair away from my face; I'm usually too tired to do anything else. When it comes to makeup, I use CHANEL sublimage foundation, Olivia Palermo beauty palettes, Saie illuminating gel, Marc Jacobs mascara, Saje, and tons of setting powder to mask the sweat! However, skin care is extremely important to me. Skin care is part of my self-care regime. I usually have a four-to-six step program twice a day. I double cleanse, tone in the morning, essence, face and eye serum, eye cream, then moisturizer and SPF (at night I sub SPF for retinol)."

Day 3:

"This look is what I wore to our fitting at Ferragamo HQ. I wanted to look fashionable, but also manage to have a loose enough fit to fit Ashley. My go-to palette is black and white, and lately I have loved mixing metals, so this pretty much sums up my personal style. This CHANEL bag might be my favorite bag I have from cruise 2018. It was modeled after ancient Greece. The models looked like goddesses, so I call this bag Aphrodite—when I look at her, there is only love! My shoes are The Row—the leather is so rich they almost feel like slippers."
