The Only 6 Spring 2025 Fashion Trends Worth Investing In
Warm weather is just around the corner

The past few seasons have put practicality and minimalism at the forefront, but for summer 2025, I’m ready to start injecting a little more personality into my wardrobe. This season’s top trends are louder, bolder, brighter and kookier, inviting you to embrace those off-kilter combinations you have yet to try: Voluminous boho ruffles, shiny pastels and all things sheer mix, along with fisherman-inspired staples and embellishments of all kinds. It may sound like a lot, but there are really only six major summer 2025 trends to know.
Here, all the best spring fashion trends to incorporate into your wardrobe, straight from the runways.

Spring Trend #1: Cotton-CandyPink
Pastels of all varieties are swiftly replacing bold cherry red and rich burgundy as the top spring color trends of the year, but none is more prevalent than powder pink. The frothy shade was seen on countless runway, from tiered tulle at Valentino to draped silk at Brandon Maxwell to utilitarian shirting at Aknvas. The good news is that the ballet-coloredhue works just as well for all aesthetics, whether you prefer sharp tailoring or boho lace, and can be worn with just about any other shade, from butter yellow to camel suede to Bottega green.

Spring Trend #2: More is More
In a full 180 from the anonymous minimalism of quiet luxury, designers went all in on texture, detail and personality for spring 2025. Sequins, beading, fringe, feather trims, crochet, lace, brocade — all these and more will be found in abundance this summer,nd they won’t be worn with trepidation. This trend is all about a more is more approach, à la Giorgio Armani, Saint Laurent or Versace’s Spring/Summer 2025 runways. Pile on the textures and focus less on trying to make a perfect match, and more on creating a unique combination that showcases your personal style.

Spring Trend #3: She's a Romantic
The boho trend is still going strong for spring, and will most likely carry over into fall, too. Celine and Chloé have been leading the charge on how to elevate the classic flowy silhouettes, but Akris, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Erdem all put their own twist on things, giving you ample inspiration for how to make boho 3.0 work for your wardrobe. Tiers of ruffles, sheer materials, asymmetrical hemlines and loose, maxi-length silhouettes are all easy places to start — but even better if you can incorporate all at once.

Spring Trend #4: Yacht Club
The fisherman aesthetic is coming for your summer wardrobe, whether you plan to spend your weekends in Montauk or not. Sailor-inspired detailing, like tie-neck collars and white hats, dotted the runways at Moschino, and Prada’s S/S 2025 runway embraced Breton stripes and a navy-and-blue color palette with gusto. Add to that a handful of netted accessories, and some unforgettable net trousers from Alaïa, and there’s just no doubting the power of the sea this spring’s . When in doubt, lean into simplicity with a white tank, navy trousers, fisherman sandals and a net tote.

Spring Trend #5: Grin and Bare It
Underwear as outerwear is nothing new, but for spring 2025, designers have turned up the heat even more with hot pants, corsets and all things sheer. Skimpy silhouettes reign supreme with the illusion of coverage by way of sheer dresses and slinky robes à la Gucci and Valentino’s S/S 2025 collections. Expect to see a whole lot of skin as temperatures rise in the coming weeks.

Spring Trend #6: Denim Everything
The runways may not have predicted this top trend, but the street style stars in attendance certainly did. Coordinating denim ensembles were impossible to escape during both the S/S ‘25 shows and F/W ’25, and I feel confident the hype will only grow stronger as we barrel toward summer. Think cropped denim shirts worn with matching miniskirts, cinched trucker jackets layered over A-line maxis, and denim corsets tucked into low-rise barrel-leg jeans — essentially any blue-wash duo will do.
