Jessica Wu

In Keeping Tabs, the world's most stylish people share their search history and current open tabs—what they're searching, saving, reading, and buying for your reading (and shopping) pleasure.

Raised in Newport Beach, California, and currently residing in New York City, Jessica Wu is a multi-hyphenate: she made a name for herself working as a stylist and producer for the likes of Interview Magazine, Nike, Glossier, and Adidas and co-founded luxury fashion brand Peter Do. When not exercising her creative muscles, Wu can be found on Instagram making fellow chronically ill folks feel seen, and wholeheartedly advocating for a free Palestine.

Between her creative work and advocacy, Wu still finds time to read, shop, and browse, and she shared all of the details with us, below.

What's Entertaining You?

Jessica Wu

Reading: "'Severence' by Ling Ma. Re-reading because it is simply such a prescient work. I don't normally go for fiction but I blew through this the first time. I loved it but was also lowkey frightened by the eeriness of it all. Ken Klippenstein's substack - Concise yet in-depth reporting on current affairs; Ken often gets the first scoop before the mainstream outlets do. "Escape" sheet music by Philip Glass - Does this count? I've played piano my whole life and largely stopped in college but I picked it up again recently. It took until adulthood for me to fully appreciate Minimal music and Phillip Glass is now one of my most listened to artists. I've been printing a lot of sheet music from major motion pictures (I'm currently also practicing the Pride and Prejudice 2005 soundtrack composed by Dario Marianelli, huge fan)."

Listening: "I'll give you a little playlist:

Turn Heads - Dem Franchize Boys, Lloyd

Maybe Tomorrow - Stereophonics

Como Siento Yo - Gipsy Kings

Simple And Clean, PlanitB remix - Hikaru Utada

Sublime - Sarah Kinsley

Gosu - RAKUNELAMA

Fever, Oklou Remix - Dua Lipa

Hysteria - Muse

He Wasn't Man Enough - Toni Braxton

On The Run - Kelela

Gabriela - KATSEYE"
