Inside CHANEL’s Feminist Pop-Up at The Wing’s Brand-New Soho Outpost

In what must be one of the  most Instagram-breaking moves since the invention of, well, Instagram, CHANEL has teamed up with The Wing’s newest Soho location to bring fans of fashion and feminism (so...all of us?) a headquarters. The Coco Club riffs on the idea of a traditional men’s club and plays off the brand’s iconic BOY-FRIEND watch design. According to CHANEL, the pop-up offers a place for “gathering, for community, for respite, for enjoyment, for escaping the confines of time—allowing women to own their own time and live life by their own set of rules.”

Oh, and for taking a selfie in the photo booth, getting a “club passport,” playing with CHANEL makeup in the “@Beauty Room,” having a snack at the “@Coco Cafe,” and a lot of other fun surprises we won’t spoil.

What we will spoil, however, is the space’s design. Click through to see exactly what a CHANEL club looks like, and book your visit when the space (at 52 Mercer Street in Manhattan) is open to the public on Sunday, November 12th, here
