Setting powder is one of the must-haves in your makeup routine during the summer to keep your makeup intact. Oftentimes, you can spend hours getting ready only for the sweltering heat and humidity to melt it all off. But when you set your makeup with setting powders, chances of your makeup melting off are way, way lower. That said, we compiled a list of the best setting powders to use this summer depending on your skin type, below.

For Dry Skin:

Those with dry skin typically forgo setting powders altogether, but a mid-day touchup is usually needed. As someone with dry skin, my fear of powder exposing all of my dry patches, skin texture, and fine lines is strong. But I still have the desire of wanting my makeup to actually stay in place during the blazing, hot summer. The key is to lightly apply setting powder where needed, like your T-zone.

Hyaluronic Hydra Powder

It’s in the name. This translucent powder is made with hyaluronic acid to blur fine lines and smoothen skin. This powder leaves a blurring effect while setting your makeup.
