As of late, Reformation has been launching collaboration after collaboration with it-girls, from Nara Smith to Enya Umanzor. Most recently, the beloved brand launched a collaboration with Alexa Chung—my forever cool girl muse whose style perfectly balances timelessness and playfulness. Chung's wardrobe is one many fashion lovers (including myself here) would love to get their hands on; she's got a wardrobe stocked with Dior graphic tees, Prada midis, and perfect vintage denim—what could be more enviable?

Luckily, the model and author recently collaborated with Reformation to give us hand-curated options that make her quirky aesthetic accessible. From cropped graphic tees to effortless little black dresses, the collection of under $1000 pieces is designed to bring a bit of personality to your closet. It's filled with statement pieces that pair perfectly with your favorite jeans.

Ahead, I tried on a few pieces from the collection.

The Graphic Tee

Chung has been spotted in graphic tees no matter the season. In her Ref collection, there are two options: a white option with "Me Again" in blue text that is currently sold out, and a black option (see above) with "Much Too Much" in an eye-catching red. While I love the witty phrase on the tee, the fit was actually the most impressive thing about the top. The crop sat just right, while the sleeves didn't sway into baby tee territory.

The Whimsical Tank

There's nothing better than having a top in your rotation that makes the outfit—and this vintage-inspired one from the collection is just that. It's truly so cute, with floral embellishments along the scalloped trim, slinky spaghetti straps, and a yellow tie around the waist for a cinching effect. The tank is a bit sheer, making it a number I'm charting for upcoming beach vacations as a coverup, too.

The Little Black Dress & Heels

It's no surprise Chung's collection with Reformation has the perfect little black dress—and let me tell you, this one is truly worth investing in. Inside, there's a bra-type closure that really holds everything in place. So, once you're zipped in, you can move freely about your night without worrying about adjusting the top (a strapless dress woe). The heels from the collection pair seamlessly, too, with strappy details and a small bow for a feminine touch.

The Velvet Jacket

When this pink velvet jacket arrived at my door, I wasn't sure. I'm not a big color person, and velvet sometimes freaks me out. But, this jacket from the collection changed my perspective. The rich pink shade made it feel not only palatable, but fun! The velvet texture was soft and elegant, making this number a top choice for a fall date night.
