Major players in the fashion industry have collaborated to build BestKeptSecret, a digital shopping platform launching August 11th, where you can shop over 40 American designers at up to 80 percent off—all of the proceeds will be donated to Baby2Baby and Know Your Rights Camp.

Andrew Rosen of Theory, Ben Fischman of M.Gemi, Jens Grede of Frame, and Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School created this new digital form of a flash sale as a way to counteract the excess inventory in the industry while also giving back during these unprecedented times. “Creative ideas are often born in times of necessity, and we recognized an opportunity to do something different by pushing the envelope of a traditional sale,” said Andrew Rosen, partner of BestKeptSecret.

The event will run from August 11th to the 15th with a goal of donating at least $1 million to Baby2Baby, an organization that provides diapers, clothing, and basic necessities for children in poverty ages 0 to 12, and Know Your Rights Camp, Colin Kaepernick’s program that strives to stimulate the advancement of Black and brown communities “through education, self-empowerment, mass mobilization, and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.”

Consumers can create an online profile immediately to shop for free starting the 11th, or purchase a $25 VIP Donor ticket, which will grant them early access to the sale at 6:00 PM EST the night before. Brands include Re/Done, Theory, Frame, Rhode, Rosie Assoulin, Mansur Gavriel, Staud, and more at prices rarely available.

BestKeptSecret is taking the guesswork out of mindful shopping by separating products into categories such as “Female-Founded” and “Great Sales Under $100,” which entails offerings at a reasonable price point. There will be a $5 donation attached to every unit sold, and 100 percent of the proceeds, matched by the BestKeptSecret team and their sponsors, will be donated.

“We’re not only thrilled to bring BestKeptSecret to life,” explains Maxwell Osborne, “we’re proud to be supporting causes that will aid communities across the country during these difficult times.”
