Team Coveteur’s Current Fashion and Beauty Obsessions

See what’s in our shopping carts this week.

fashion and beauty obsessions
Team Coveteur has been working from home the past few days, and although the current atmosphere in New York can only be described as tense, we’re constantly reminding each other to indulge in moments of relaxation. Whether that’s a half hour of meditation in our living room, a long bath with a cup of tea, or a guilt-free afternoon of online shopping—it’s our time to rest, reflect, and hunker down for a few days. If you’re in the same boat and want to know what’s currently caught our eye, take a peek at our fashion and beauty obsessions below. We all deserve it right now.

Lancôme Absolue Revitalizing & Brightening Soft Cream, $212

This ultra-luxe cream contains meadowfoam seed, apricot, and passion fruit oils for a soothing dose of hydration that also helps fight fine lines—if you're a face-down sleeper like me, you know what I'm talking about. Added shea butter is also ideal for when my skin is looking particularly dehydrated. The signature rose extract makes me feel like the fanciest of ladies especially when I'm in a fluffy robe with a cup of green tea. I’m guilty of slathering on an extra-thick layer to my décolleté on the daily because after you turn 30, every bit of your skin needs special love and attention.

Coveteur x Craig Ward T-Shirt, $45

Yes, I’m biased towards all things Coveteur, but I really do love this t-shirt. Recently it’s been my go-to for lounging and running errands on the weekend, but come spring I’ll be knotting it into a crop top and wearing it with a denim miniskirt and sneakers.

Alo Yoga Unisex Sherpa Hoodie, $168

Working from home right now means comfy loungewear all day, every day, and nothing beats this unisex Sherpa hoodie from Alo. Pro tip: The cut on this is perfect (and already a bit oversized), but size up if you’re tall.

Audience & Development Manager

Jacquemus Le Panier Soleil Bag, $460

If you didn’t catch the Jacquemus spring 2020 runway show last June, let me introduce you to one of many pieces I’m still lusting for. I am openly a part of the Simon Porte Jacquemus cult following, and it seems only right to balance out my most minuscule bag with a comparably larger one. Equally appropriate for work days or the beach, this straw tote trimmed with fun colors is my current obsession.

J.Hannah Eames Polish, $19

As a byproduct of heavy sanitation, my hands have turned to dry, cracked paws in desperate need of some TLC. Which is why, in addition to my religious rotation of hand creams, this pea-green hue (inspired by my mid-century idol, Charles Eames) is sure to brighten things up!

Sunday Lawn Care, Pricing varies

With spring just around the corner, I’m looking to invest energy into revamping my backyard space to be as usable as possible to maximize the space of my home while I’m cooped up in it. Having a small outdoor area and no experience gardening at all, Sunday lawn-in-a-box provides you with just the amount of soil, seed, and nutrients for a foolproof plan to getting your garden on.

ATP Atelier Alezio Leather Sandals, $300

Instead of dwelling on the fact that we are all currently cooped up in our tiny NYC apartments amidst gloomy weather, I have decided to focus my energy on things I can do (and wear) when we are all back to hanging out in the sunshine. That means it’s time to look for a new wear-every-day sandal. I don’t mind spending a little more on a decent pair since I typically end up knocking the cost-per-wear way down.
