Embracing clean beauty continues to be at the top of our to-do lists, and to our good fortune, there are more and more brands providing options for our makeup bags. One of the most in-demand as of late is Kosas, an all-natural cosmetics line that began with four creamy lipsticks and has since expanded to lip gloss, lip balm, eyeshadow, blush, and a cult-favorite tinted face oil foundation.

Founder Sheena Yaitanes is behind the burgeoning beauty powerhouse, and it’s easy to see how significantly her art background (she trained as a painter) has influenced her new venture. Unsurprisingly, the Los Angeles home she shares with her family is equally dreamy, a pure aesthetic wonderland with plenty of cozy textiles and artwork. And after 10 years in her historic neighborhood, Yaitanes has remodeled her house to perfection, complete with an enviable walk-in closet where she often hosts friends (it’s that good). So who better to give us a few pointers for storing our copious beauty products? All Yaitanes’ tips, plus her favorite places to shop for interiors, and her must-have criteria for investing in your dream couch. Take a peek inside her relaxed California abode below.
