If you're anything like us, chances are you've been spending the better part of the past week in a Netflix k-hole. Our fascinations with Claire Underwood's pixie and Pennsatucky's new teeth notwithstanding, we're talking a deep dive inspired by the seriously significant losses in cinema and culture at large this week. And so we figured it was only right to pay respects in the only way we know how: a GIF-able tribute to the late, great Lauren Bacall. While Bacall's on-screen presence was indisputably one to be reckoned with, it was her unflappable tenacity and unwavering mettle (and that voice!) that will be missed most. We mean, we are talking about the same woman who dropped f-bombs during a Vanity Fair interview at the casual age of 86 (idol!) and who made up one half of arguably the greatest pop culture love story of our time--you know, the original Brangelina. We'll leave you with this: “I am not a has-been. I am a will be.”
