Hopefully your summer was a blissful mix of beach days, Aperol spritzes, and crop tops—mixed in with some cookouts, a vacation, and workdays that felt more like hanging out in an air-conditioned building than being stressed to the max about meetings and deadlines. Many of us have a tendency to be pretty laid-back over the summer, which means we can let some of our responsibilities and good habits fall by the wayside. Saving money? What’s that? Eating vegetables? Only on a burger. Fixing all the broken things in your apartment? Maybe when it’s cold out and there’s nothing better to do.
