Postcards from #Firenze4Ever

Behind-the-scenes magic from our trip to Florence with LuisaViaRoma..

When Luisa Via Roma calls (okay, emails) inviting you to Florence, Italy for #Firenze4Ever you don’t think twice. So we packed our bags – long, flowy dresses, printed onesies, Céline aviatoirs and Neutrogena SPF 100+ (we learned that lesson the hard way) – and booked a ticket faster than you can say “Ciao!” Note to self: Heels and cobble stone streets don’t mix; pack more wedges next year.

We landed in Florence – albeit way jet-lagged – and headed straight to our oh-so-Italian hotel to drop off our luggage and, like any self-respecting tourists, check out the view from our window. (Insert camera shutter sound here.) Although we typically run around with the usual Nikon in hand, we prefer the whole iPhones-do-it-better mantra and snapped away all weekend long. From Luisa Via Roma HQ to a picturesque winery to a tourist-stopping-photoshoot-in-the-streets to a “casual” day trip to Roberto Cavalli’s summer home in the hillside (coming soon to a Coveteur near you!), it was definitely a trip that will go down in Cov history. We caught up with some past Cov-alums (BryanBoy, Bagsnob a.k.a. Tina Craig and Chiara Ferragni) and shot a new bunch of fresh faces while in town (Spoiler alert: Nicole Warne a.k.a. Gary Pepper Girl… among others!). We tried going into one of those super-touristy type giftshops for a cheesy postcard with like the Duomo on it, but felt this would be enough. For all of you with major FOMO from stalking Instagram, consider this your first class ticket to ride. From Firenze, With Love, The Coveteur.
