It's been a great summer for leopard print revival, and it was an even better winter for faux fur to solidify itself in the trend cycle. It's been a great year for animal print in all iterations, from tiger stripes to faux deer hide, fashion has certainly been feeling more animalistic of late, and zebra print is chief amongst them.
Arriving on runways in subtle details, a theme is emerging with zebra print that sets it apart from it's animal print counterparts: it's mostly concentrated to accessories, making it the perfect way to dip your toe into the animal print world, without investing in a statement tiger print coat.

Isabel Marant FW26 // LaunchmetricsWe've seen these examples on recent runways, from Isabel Marant and Fendi's Fall/Winter 2026 collections to bags at Khaite and Alaïa's Resort 2026 collections. What feels the most interesting is the way a zebra print accessory elevates any look with minimal effort. A zebra bag against an all-black outfit breaks things up, while a zebra belt to separate a monochromatic red look gives things a boho feel. Red is zebra print's champion stylistically—just ask Maria Grazia Chiuri, who offered up a beaded zebra print Fendi Baguette with a red python leather trim for Fall/Winter 2026.

Alaïa Resort 26 // LaunchmetricsAt Isabel Marant, it was all about skinny belts made of zebra printed pony hair, slouchy hobo bags sporting motifs of the African equine's coat, alongside knee high boots and ankle boots. Over at Cate Holstein's Resort 2026 collection for Khaite, the New York designer pushed a collection laden with zebra motifs. There were heavy coats and printed pony hair pants, but the most desirable offering came via a simple structured shoulder bag with a smooth, pale brown leather shoulder strap accent, which, when worn with the brand's signature dark wash denim and a leather blazer, felt like the perfect embodiment of the understated Khaite woman.
