Your Spring Accessory Shopping Guide, Straight From The Runway

Spring often comes with a wardrobe refresh, and while there is plenty of joy to be had in restocking on simple basics and a few fun items here and there, accessories are often an overlooked way to reimagine your seasonal wardrobe.

Last year, the Spring/Summer 2026 runways made a point of proving this, with accessories far and wide becoming the focal point of many collections, like Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel debut, which, now available in-store, is proving extremely popular in the bags and shoes departments. Meanwhile over at Dior, footwear became a triumphant moment for Jonathan Anderson, who showed a series of kitten heels, mules, court shoes and loafers all in leather, satin, and tartan, some with peep toes and bows or oversized rosettes, others with playful rabbit ears at the toe. 

Over at Prada Spring/Summer 2026, opera gloves in lambskin and satin came down the runway en masse, in joyful spring hues like aquamarine, lilac, baby pink, and orange, while at Loewe, all focus was on the plastic heeled water shoe hybrids that came out in transparent PVC, black, yellow and flesh tone. 

We have been doing plenty of reporting on the colors of the season this spring. Chartreuse, aquamarine, mint, and petal pink have all been fixtures of the runway and IRL as we reintroduce color into our bleak winter wardrobes and ready for spring summer, which this year comes with less floral prints and more block colours with hues that are only slightly out of the norm. As far as accessories go, everything is filled with a bit of whimsy. From mint cap toe Chanel pumps to canvas cargo kitten heels with crystal embellishments and satin gloves from Prada, oversized crucifix earrings from Saint Laurent, Miu Miu woven belts with plenty of key rings for various uses, chartreuse Ferragamo evening bags, and more.
