Simone Biles Keeps Her Beauty Routine Simple, Thanks To These Products

There are gymnasts, and then there's Simone Biles. The 10-time Olympic medalist and 30-time (!) World Champion has elevated the sport of gymnastics to a completely different stratosphere, one back handspring at a time. I'll never forget seeing her catapulting onto the scene in at her first Olympics in 2016, flying through the air on the vault, landing her backflip dismount on the beam like it was nothing. America, and the entire sport of gymnastics, was never the same. Beyond her prowess of her sport, Biles is also an outspoken advocate for the importance of taking care of your mental health, even when the stakes are high. Her decision to withdraw from the Tokyo Olympics after experiencing "the twisties" set an example for all of us to know when to say no and take a break; her triumphant return four years later at the Paris Olympics was just the cherry on top.
Since then, Biles has launched a Netflix show about her life after the Olympics, gotten married, and is the star of K18's new Airwash Fitness campaign, which shows how the brand's magical liquid-to-dry shampoo that leaves your hair feeling clean and light as air with one spritz, no matter how sweaty you were when you started. I caught up with Biles and asked her about what her beauty routine looks like these days now that she's not competitively training. "I definitely lean toward keeping things simple," she says. "My schedule is always packed—whether I'm training, traveling, or just trying to enjoy some downtime—so I don’t have time for anything overly complicated."
