Rachel Brosnahan, who's been tipped to play Lois Lane in the new DC remake of "Superman," is giving preppy style a whole new meaning as she goes method with her press tour looks.

Stepping out in New York City this week, she's been photographed channeling Clark Kent's love interest, with style choices that reflect her character's sartorial choices perfectly.

On the red carpet, Brosnahan has been seen wearing slinky custom Ralph Lauren gowns and Armani Privée cut-out dresses, with help from her stylist, Alexandra Mandelkorn. But on the hot Manhattan sidewalks, she's been opting for more business-casual looks with a preppy twist, from Thom Browne skirt suits to full Miu Miu school girl.

Comic-book devotees know Lois Lane's character is famous for her corporate-girl attire, from sweaters layered over button-ups to blazers paired with pencil skirts. Brosnahan has been embracing the preppy aesthetic of her character, but injecting some youth and playfulness throughout for more of an office siren effect.
