Pastels, Pearls, and ’60s Pucci

While I may live in New York, I shop like I live in a tropical climate year-round. I prefer to collect summer dresses and accessories over anything else (even when the weather calls for a snowsuit), and when I came across the trailer for the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Palm Royale during a recent seasonal rut-induced doom scroll, a whole new wave of spring and summer wardrobe inspo enveloped me.

This show is giving everything that I crave: a star-studded cast, 1960s fashion, Kristen Wiig with a southern accent, pure Palm Beach prep, pastels, oversized sunglasses, and a glamorous backdrop. Coupled with the fact that it seems like every influencer on the planet has taken residence at The Colony at some point this season, it’s safe to say that the release of Palm Royale will only strengthen the style movement of Palm Beach-inspired looks well beyond the Sunshine State in 2024. While I patiently await the series’s March 20th release date, I’m eyeing all of the pinks and greens from Aston Studio’s Joyful Collection and the perfect pastels of Gucci eyewear to curate my take on the Palm Beach aesthetic.
