Would it even be the Grammys if we didn't get a little bit of nudity? Would it even be a red carpet in the year 2026 if we didn't get at least one naked dress moment? The answer to both questions is no—and we love that for us. Despite the Cannes Film Festival banning nudity on the red carpet, the naked dress trend persisted throughout 2025 and doesn't seem to be going anywhere in 2026. I see it as a form of female empowerment, a celebration of the human body, and the ultimate power move and sign of confidence. While some people on certain corners of the internet and lurking in certain comment sections might disagree, our favorite stars pay those folks no mind.
