About a month again, I moved into my first solo apartment. It feels like a milestone: just me and my son, Jimi Hendrix the dog, peace and quiet, and even a backyard that has already felt like a huge blessing this summer. The most exciting part about living on your own? Decorating without having to compromise or ask for approval. So, it's safe to say that I've had home decor on my mind—as well as necessary, practical items helping me get through summer.

After a long day spent creating content and reporting on all things fashion, beauty, and culture, team Coveteur values returning home to a space that truly feels reflective of ourselves—what that means exactly to each of us varies, but nonetheless.

From summer bedding upgrades to funky design pieces to items that would simply look gorgeous on our kitchen counters, we’re sharing the items that we’re currently coveting for our homes.

Brooklinen Crinkle Cotton Sham

"I am a Brooklinen devotee. They're the only sheets I sleep in, and recently, I've been eyeing some of their bed decor items, like this crinkle cut cotton sham. I love how versatile it is, too—you can fold it and place it at the foot of the bed as an accent blanket, or even replace your comforter with it on a hot summer day." - Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Thuma Essential Nightstand

"I've recently become obsessed with Thuma furniture, and especially this nightstand. Bembien Plage Striped Cotton Towel

"I spend my summers at the beach, and as such, always need a strong rotation of towels to bring along for afternoons in the sand. Lola Blankets Original Blanket

"I'm a Taurus, so you know I take my lounging very seriously. Recently, I've fallen for the Lola Blanket hype, and I have to admit, it's worth it. Breville Bambino Plus Espresso Machine

"I'm currently in the market for a new coffee maker, and after hearing countless recommendations from my coffee-enthusiast friends, I landed on the Breville Bambino. The Windmill WhisperTech AC

"A window AC that looks good, works, and is quiet? Truly didn't know it existed. This Windmill AC has exceeded my expectations. This AC's design blows air upwards so that it hits the ceiling and even disperses throughout the room—it genuinely feels like central air. I already have one in my living room but I'm now coveting one for my bedroom, too." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor
