Model Kelsey Merritt Attended Her First Dior Show at the Brooklyn Museum
Before stepping out in a sheer lace skirt, she got ready at The Mark with meditation and a silent playlist.

Last night, model Kelsey Merritt attended her first Dior fashion show at the Brooklyn Museum, where the French fashion house showed their Fall 2024 collection. Still adjusting to the time difference after a flight from Tokyo, she spent the day getting ready at The Mark hotel on New York City's Upper East Side. For Merritt, the need for a zen aura supersedes any desire for a zesty pre-game. She meditates, applies face masks, and has her hair and makeup done—plot twist—sans music. "There's so much going on that it feels chaotic," she explains. "This is my time to zen out before the big thing happening tonight." Alongside hair stylist Stefano Grecco and makeup artist Soo Park, Merritt crafted a beauty look inspired by her head-to-toe Dior ensemble. Ahead, discover the story behind the look and more about her getting ready process.
