Gucci's Primavera Campaign Is Packed With Familiar Faces

Gucci is no stranger to star-studded campaigns, and for the house's new Primavera collection, Demna offers up the celebrity campaign to end all celebrity campaigns. Let's start here: the video, directed by Johan Renck, features Kate Moss lip-syncing to Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game' on stage to a room full of strangers who pair off and sway. In the photos, more recognizable faces turn the whole campaign package up a notch.

The photos, shot by Michal Chelbin and starring Tom Brady, Alex Consani, EsDeeKid, Lee Young Ae, Shawn Mendes, Rico Nasty, and Tarzzan, are stylistically posed and reminiscent of classic Renaissance paintings—Consani’s purple sequined off-the-shoulder dress on a velvet floral blanket-covered sofa and Brady sitting in a chair in an all-leather look, with floral wallpaper and draped deep-rust curtains that look like they were plucked right out of the Victorian era as the backdrop, for example.
