There's an effortless simplicity that we've always associated with Prada—and the house's Fall/Winter 2026 campaign is an extension of that. With director Barry Jenkins, beloved for Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk, behind the lens, intimate shots of everyday life—mundanity, and all—were guaranteed. In the campaign video, we see Kelvin Harrison Jr. lying on a couch and reflecting, Troye Sivan glancing in a mirror, Hunter Schafer scrapping pages of work in front of a fireplace, and Chen Haoyu posted up in a window sill with a book in hand. While these moments are simple, the styling and shots alike offer a layer of complexity and leave us feeling like there is more to these characters than what meets the eye.
Barry Jenkins is far from the first filmmaker to approach Prada's fashion offerings through a cinematic lens. The house has previously collaborated with David O. Russell, Nicolas Winding Ren, and Yorgos Lannthimos on campaigns that show the clothes in action, moving through the world, and as a supporting character in day-to-day rituals and social interactions—which is, at the end of the day, what fashion is.
