Rashida Jones graced the Emmy's red carpet in a custom Dior Gown by Jonathan Anderson (a black off the shoulder slinky gown with intriguing draped details) ahead of his debut womenswear collection for the house, accessorized with Jessica McCormack jewelry which Jones believes "feel like heirlooms." The aim for the overall look was elegant, understated glamour, soft beautiful lines, and classic black. Jones, however, could not have gotten there without a little help from her glam team and her go-to Armani products—her look simply would've been incomplete.
Armani
Jones was nominated for an Emmy for her leading role in the genre bending anthology series "Black Mirror", but was also looking forward to the social and shoulder brushing aspects of the evening. "I'm excited to see my bestie Kathryn Hahn!" Jones shared. She described the energy in her glam room as "deeply unserious", and as an environment in which everyone loves and laughs out loud leading up to the big night.
Her skin prep process begins with a lymphatic facial from Joomee Song and a signature rhythmic facial from Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine of Augustinus Bader. "It's a perfect combo," Jones said. She describes her relationships with makeup artist Jamie Greenberg and hair stylist Eddie Cook as entirely collaborative—a vision is always discussed ahead of time and they are always in sync, and Emmy night was no different. "We are going for soft and glowy makeup with romantic hair," Jones said.
Armani
Jones' look could not have been accomplished without her go-to tried and true Armani beauty products, products she uses and swears by both on and off the red carpet. "I love Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation. The Smooth Silk Eye Pencils are my go-to’s and for this look we are loving the Eye Tints because they set a sexy, moody vibe," Jones shared. "And on the days I’m doing my own makeup, they’re so easy to use."
Then, after a quick outfit change, Rashida Jones danced the night away at an afterparty. Because an Emmy nomination and getting to dress up and praise all of your peers is something worth celebrating, after all.
