On what would've otherwise felt like a typical Wednesday night in Los Angeles, Jonathan Anderson presented his first Cruise collection for Dior at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The outdoor space was transformed into a set that stirred up a collective nostalgia of old Hollywood and film noir, which also served as inspiration for the show. In true Dior fashion, celebrities from far and wide flocked to Los Angeles for the occasion—because if you’re invited to a Dior show, you show up.

After getting ready to the soundtrack of Lana Del Rey's "West Coast," with glowy glam heavy on the highlighter and rosy cheeks, and styled by Benjamin Bruno in embellished jeans and a cropped muted green bar jacket straight from the house's Fall/Winter 2026 runway, Olympic gold medalist Eileen Gu was beyond ready for her first Dior show. The music helped her channel the old Hollywood vibes that the evening called for, the glam had her looking angelic, and the outfit presented her as a quintessential Jonathan Anderson Dior girl. "I love [Dior's] colors and use of flowing fabrics—makes a woman feel strong and ethereal at the same time!" Gu tells Coveteur.

Ahead, Gu takes us through her getting ready process ahead of the Dior Cruise 2027 show, and breaks down every detail, from head-to-toe.
