New York Fashion week officially wraps today, and what a whirlwind it's been! The Spring/Summer 2027 season in NYC kicks off the fashion month circuit, and it was certainly an eventful and inspiring season. Highlights included Rachel Antonoff and Susan Alexandra's dog show at the top end of the week, Proenza Schouler's Rachel Scott giving us a perfect, ultra-tight collection for the women of New York City, naked shoes at AREA, a Luar spectacle in Queens, and discovering a drink called the "diva" during the only seated dinner the Coveteur team had all week at Saint Ambroeus (it was delicious).
The Coveteur team divided and conquered all week, covering plenty of ground backstage, at shows, presentations, parties, and more. The age old question, is what did we wear throughout the week? Ahead, we report back on some of the things we wore this week, from the bags that do the heavy lifting of fitting our lives inside them between shows, to the shoes that add a statement to an easy outfit, and beyond. These are our NYFW essentials.

For me, that meant leaning into the ’70s energy of this cropped suede Helsa bomber, but keeping it streamlined with a Agolde leather skirt and white tank. Oversized sunglasses are always a must (for helping me look put-together and simultaneously covering my tired eyes)—and a giant bag is a Fashion Week necessity. I need it to be large enough to hold, at minimum, my laptop, charger, water bottles/snacks, and, preferably, an extra pair of heels.”

I pack this vintage Jil Sander skirt that I had tailored years ago every season, and styled it with a slinky bodysuit and tall sock boots. My accessories remain some sort of variation of the silver jewelry I wear every day —mostly all from Agmes, my go-to—a black bag (this Gucci Borsetto is the perfect day bag) and my Ray Ban Wayfarers which will never go out of style."
