We're taking this shift as a sign of collective boredom met with the desire for joy in all aspects of life, including the clothes in our closets.

SONIC / BACKGRIDIn the form of more casual, everyday looks, Jennifer Lawrence has been showing an affinity for primary colors all year long. She's been spotted pairing yellow t-shirts with red cardigans and blue jeans, yellow t-shirts with red slip skirts and, in this case, red track pants with a vintage yellow Mickey Mouse baby tee. The color of it all, in my opinion, immediately makes her casual look feel more fashion forward.
And, just yesterday, Anya Taylor-Joy took colormaxxing to new heights—and now, we all have no choice but to test our own limits. Taylor-Joy wore a bright purple bra top under a bright green cardigan. She paired these with an orange midi skirt and yellow peep-toe heels. It shouldn't be perfection but it is—that's the beauty of playing with color.
