Charli XCX has been having and creating moments consistently since her iconic Brat summer—from a culture-defining tour to a wedding weekend filled with it-girls to creating the soundtrack for "Wuthering Heights," the premiere of her film "The Moment" was next on her agenda. This monumental evening called for monumental make up. Makeup artist Yasmin Istanbouli had the three S's in mind when cooking up Charli's glam: "sleek, sexy, and snatched!" It feels entirely appropriate that that inspiration behind Charli's glam was Charli herself—she is an icon constantly reinventing herself and pushing boundaries, after all. "The inspo for glam was Brat! Her outfit, styled by Chris Horan, was paying homage to the iconic Brat era, so we had the makeup match that vibe," Istanbouli says.
The outfit in question was pulled directly from the Brat era: an archival leather Alexander McQueen bra (reworn from her wedding weekend), a blue Jean Paul Gaultier corset (reworn from the 2025 Grammys), and a pair of hot pants she wore throughout her tour. "The Moment" is all about the rise and fall of Brat, so it only makes sense for Charli to tap back into that era for this moment.

Working with YSL Beauty, Istanbouli and Charli collaborated to achieve a look that felt true to her and worthy of such a celebratory night. “Our glam looks are always very collaborative," Istanbouli says. "I always want to make sure she feels comfortable and very much herself so we’re always throwing ideas at each other when discussing glam.” The result was a moody look with a lived-in lip (reflective of imperfection being a large component of the Brat era) and slim and sharp cat-eye. Her skin appeared sun kissed courtesy of YSL's All Hours Hyper Bronze, ethereally glowy thanks to their All Hours Hyper Luminize Powder Highlighter, and both were perfectly contrasted by perfectly pigmented lashes with help of the Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara.
