Thanksgiving is about a lot of things: spending time with family (chosen or otherwise), preparing for the end of the year, taking a moment to slow down, indulging in tasty eats and, well, shopping. For some (me), Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the shopping holidays directly following Thanksgiving, are more exciting than the main holiday itself. There's no better feeling than witnessing an item you've been longing for drop significantly in price. Sure, sales happen all the time and aren't exclusive to this time of year, but it's more about the amount of sales occurring at once.
As much as we might want to, we can't indulge in everything. We've skimmed through the many sales, thought about what items have remained on our minds for months, taken stock of what we already have (and, in turn, considered what we truly need), compared sale prices to full prices to determine how worthy a splurge really feels, and narrowed down our wishlists.
