Expertise

Tom's focus has always been tapping the emotional side of travel: what a place does to you when you're in it, whether that's a landscape so remote it forces you to pay attention again or a city with real texture and a complex history.  A career built on that conviction has earned him recognition as a Condé Nast Traveler Top Travel Specialist and a place on Inc. Magazine's Best in Business list, among accolades.  At Coveteur, he explores travel through that same lens, writing about mystical places to disconnect, destinations with atmosphere, myth,  a pull you can't quite explain, and what it means to travel with genuine curiosity and intention.
