Today, two iconic brands released a collaborative 26-piece capsule collection embracing collegiate style. A.P.C. and Marc Jacobs are two brands with heritages rooted in the 1980's and with founders, Jean Touitou and Marc Jacobs, respectively, who formed a long lasting friendship in the 1990's who are passionate about pulling from that rich history while also grounding their new work in modernity.

This capsule collection embraces collegiate blues and reds in striped polo shirts, denim mini skirts, embroidered wide-leg jeans, pinstriped button down shirts, crewneck sweatshirts with university logos, and more. The star of the show is perhaps the classic varsity jacket, featuring patches and details authentic to the '80s. The collection is complete with one pair of shoes, the only pair noted to wrap it all together in a neat preppy bow: classic brown loafers with a coin detail displaying the faces of Jean Touitou and Marc Jacobs.

Other accessories include bags featuring the classic Marc Jacobs font with a little twist in messaging: one reads "The A.P.C. Bag", while the other reads "The A.P.C. Tote". The collection is rounded out with snapback caps and a coin pendant necklace.

The campaign, shot by Nick Newbold and styled by Alastair McKimm, plays into the lighthearted energy of young adults in college and the closeness that we feel with friends at that formative age. Models are photographed huddled together and actively jumping over the shoulders of one another.

Now available to shop at apcshop.com and with prices ranging from $130 to $1,295, this nostalgic capsule collection arrived just in time for fall.
