An Ode to Personalized Jewelry

The best way to write your name in ice.

By: Jacquelyn Greenfield

Fashion will forever repeat itself. Trends are endlessly cyclical, from shoes to bags and definitely to jewelry. Specifically, personalized jewelry. While we all remember Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic Carrie nameplate from Sex and the City, personalized jewelry has been on the scene since well before the show gained popularity in the early 2000s. Originally made popular by Black and Latino communities during the ’80s and ’90s, having our own personalized pieces became an everyday staple in our collections—a piece that we could never go without. And it’s not just limited to necklaces—initial and nameplate rings, bracelets, and earrings are always a classic. Even zodiac signs and year rings, if that’s more your vibe. And since we’re always in the mood to layer a few of our favorite jewelry pieces, more is definitely more here.
