We’re not sure how an awards show honoring each year’s most remarkable musical accomplishments also became a hotbed of legendary fashion statements, but we’re thankful that it did. Blige in head-to-toe leopard print (1996), J.Lo in *that* iconic Versace dress (2000) and Lady Gaga wearing... prosciutto?

Tonight, we watched the most risk-friendly, boring-adverse red carpet of awards season, lighting up our Grammy’s Slack channel with commentary such as “she’s pretty loyal to the full Gucci look” and “Ugh, I love Diplo.” Ahead, our picks for the best dressed of the night.
