When we enter Parker Kit Hill’s Brooklyn apartment, we half expect him to dance out of the door while shaking his head in a black bob wig. If that image sounds familiar, there’s a reason for that. You likely saw Hill’s videos on Vine (RIP), where he garnered over a million followers as Parklynn, his wig-wearing alter-ego. And even though the app shut down, Hill’s videos will live on the internet forever (even if they don’t play on infinite loop).
Today you can find him on Instagram, where he posts videos of himself strutting in heels and power suits with captions such as “???!!!” (His face does the talking.) He has personality for days, as does his wardrobe. One of the first things we notice in his closet is a personalized Opening Ceremony bag emblazoned with the phrase “Yath Bith” in orange. “It speaks for itself,” he tells us.
Born and raised in Texas, Hill moved to NYC to attend Manhattan’s Joffrey School of Ballet, recently taking time off to decide what direction he’d like his budding creative career to take. Ask what he’s leaning towards, and he’ll tell you, “Fashion, film, acting—all of it!”
