Children Are About to Be Dressed Better Than You, Thanks to Net-A-Porter’s Gucci Kidswear Shop
Double–G logos for all!
Alessandro Michele’s Gucci is nothing if not extravagant. Pieces are emblazoned with logos, printed with blindingly bright tropical motifs, and embellished with enough crystals to bring tears to a maximalist’s eye. (Happy tears, of course.) This week, the ongoing excitement around the brand continues with the launch of a Gucci kidswear shop on Net-A-Porter—the retailer’s first foray into merchandise for the 12-and-under set. In layman’s terms, that means the kids in our lives—our own, our friends’, our nieces and nephews—are about to be better dressed than we are.
The shop will be open for six weeks, offering such pieces as pleated skirts and cardigans with signature Gucci stripes, a logo onesie, and, of course, a mini double–G belt. Take a look at some of our favorite pieces below, which will one day be the most fashionable hand-me-downs of all time.
