Fashion isn’t just a hobby or career for Marie-Lou Bartoli—it’s in her DNA. The Los Angeles native and celebrity stylist is the niece of Citizens of Humanity founder Jerome Dahan; the girl can definitely spot a good pair of jeans. Oh, and she and her sister have also partnered to style the likes of Miranda Kerr, Selena Gomez, and Nicole Richie—no biggie.
These days Bartoli is venturing out on her own, balancing styling gigs with designing a luxury line of bodysuits, bralettes, and underwear dropping later this year. When we got wind that the closet in the Bel Air pad she shares with her fiancé takes up an entire room, we did what we do best and invited ourselves over.
It wasn’t the first time we’ve been fortunate enough to explore a Bartoli closet (we shot the sisters back in 2014 when they were living and working together), but this go-round we pored over Marie-Lou’s solo wardrobe, and spoiler: It’s pretty amazing. Her shoe collection alone is a dream (she has *those* Louis Vuitton desert boots that are sold out everywhere, guys), with pairs on pairs on pairs housed alongside her collections of sunglasses and vintage dresses. Thank goodness she whipped up a delicious pot of coffee—rifling through this California-cool, rock-’n’-roll chic wardrobe took serious stamina.
