When we first saw Katy Perry’s new ’do, we had to do a double-take. The shaggy short cut, complete with her newly bleached locks, reminded us a bit of Miley Cyrus, but according to Katy's Instagram story? She ended up getting her inspiration elsewhere.
Pre-chop, the singer had Googled a photo of Michelle Williams—a smart tip we, too, have tried in the past, giving our stylist a clear visual of what we want. It definitely worked out for Katy in the end: sure, her hair might be lighter than Michelle’s, but she still got the cut she asked for—and it looks great, too!
